Admission Requirement

Step 1. Academic Information

a) Academic Terms

There are three academic terms per year. Applicants can apply for admissions in any term. However, the registration process is closed two weeks before each academic term starts. The date of registration is subject to change.

Term dates

• Term I: February 01, 2022 to May 13, 2022
• Term II: May 23, 2022 to September 02, 2022
• Term III: September 12, 2022 to December 23, 2022

Application dates

• Term I: November 2021 to January 2022
• Term II: March 2022 to May 2022
• Term III: June 2022 to August 2022

b) Study Sessions

• Morning: 8:30 am – 11:30 am (Monday – Friday)
• Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday)

Step 2. Admission Criteria

In order to be admitted into the program at CamTech, applicants must produce the following required documents:

a) For new students:

• High school certificate or any equivalent certificate (certified by recognized authority);
• Birth certificate, National Identification Card, or Passport;
• Current passport-size photo (with formal dress).

*** High school certificate can be submitted later after the students pass all the selection stages.

b) For Foreign Students:

• Original high school certificate or any equivalent certificate;
• Original high school transcript (if available);
• A recommendation letter from the host school principal or a teacher;
• Passport with 6-months validity to the day arrival in Cambodia;
• Certificate of English proficiency for non-native English speaker (if any available);
• Health certificate;
• Current passport-size photo (with formal dress).

*** High school certificate and transcript can be submitted later after the students pass all the selection stages.

Step 3. Filling out Application Form

In order to apply online for admission, applicant must click the link to register for creating username account. And then follow these:

• Fill out the Application Form along with a passport-size photo (photo in jpg);
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form (all files must be in PDF);
• Pay 15$ for the Application Form.

*** After submitting application, applicant will receive a notification on application status via email.

Step 4. Committee’s Selection

After screening the applications, the CamTech Selection Committee makes decision to select potential applicants for further proceeding. The selected applicants will be notified via phone call or email by the Admission Office about:

• An Entrance Exam with three contents included (IQ, English, and Specialized subject);
• Result of Entrance Exam will be informed to applicants by email within 7 working days after the exam;
• Submission of a 3-minute video based on the chosen major (conducted in English);
• Submission of grade 12 study record (1st and 2nd semester for high schoolers graduated of the present academic year);
• An Interview by CamTech Selection Committee;
• Result of Interview will be informed to applicants by email within 7 working days after the interview;
• A Letter of Admission will be issued to the successful applicants via email;
• The successful applicant will be invited by email to attend the orientation day.

Note:

• Those who enroll in Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science, and Faculty of Built Environment will have to take a specialized test that consists of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry;
• Those who enroll in other faculties, the specialized subject is based on the chosen major;
• The English exam is waived if the applicant holds a valid TOEFL iBT score of 60, IELTS score of 5.5 on the overall band, or if he/she is an English native speaker.

Step 5. Tuition Fee payment

• Pay the tuition fee via the bank account provided (for a term, a year, or the whole program).

*** For foreign students, CamTech will support the student visa application and accommodation. The expenses will be covered by student.
